National Eligibility cum Entrance test (NEET)
NEET : It is a primarily entrance test held every year for students who wish to study any (UG) medical (MBBS) and dental (BDS) courses.
Indian Health Ministry has made it clear that any Indian candidate wishing to pursue medical education from any foreign destination (on or after May, 2018) will have to qualify the NEET. It can be attempted multiple times and the exam is conducted in multiple regional languages. NEET test consist one paper containing 180 objective type questions from physics, chemistry and biology.
NEET Examination Date: 06.05.2018 which is Conducted by CBSE Board.
Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) :
DASA is a scheme of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), India for admission to undergraduate programs in Engineering/Architecture/Planning for the academic year 2018-2019 to National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Schools of Planning & Architecture (SPAs).
About the DASA
All participating institutions are autonomous and have established themselves as the top ranked institutions across the country. MHRD has entrusted the coordination of admission process under the DASA scheme to Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT). Applicants seeking admission under DASA scheme have to apply online and upload online application and documents through the website (www.dasanit.org) only. Applicants should also arrange to send SAT subject test scores to MNNIT, Allahabad.
DASA Eligibility Criteria
Age: Only applicants born on or after October 01, 1993 are eligible.
- Must have passed the qualifying examination i.e senior secondary.
- Must have subjects combination of Mathematics, Physics and one of the subjects from (Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology).
- Should have secured minimum 60% aggregate marks or 6.50 CGPA.
- Should have a minimum total valid score of 1800 in SAT subjects tests (Mathematics level 2, Physics and Chemistry)
