The LSAT, Law School Admissions Test, is an important admissions requirement for Law schools across the US, Canada and several other countries. The test takes 3.5 hours to complete and assesses 3 main areas of aptitude: Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension, set up as 4 sections of 35 minutes each, plus an additional experimental section of the same duration. In addition, the test includes an 35 minutes writing task that is not scored, but sent directly to the universities candidates are applying to.

The LSAT is administered 4 times a year, on specific dates in June, September/October, December and February, at designated centres around the world. The results, reported on a scaled score of 120 to 180, are valid for 5 years.

The good news abut the LSAT is that once you get over the initial shock of how different and maybe complicated everything looks, the proper guidance and LSAT coaching can help you start understanding what is needed of you and the specific approach and strategies that will transform the test into a, why not, potentially enjoyable affair. It is all about a particular way of thinking, and once you get the hang of that, LSAT preparation becomes a fun journey. That’s the angle we take at Brighter-Prep in Istanbul!
